Kawhi Leonard of the LA Clippers is dealing with a left adductor strain that, according to Clippers coach Tyronn Lue, isn't considered "severe." Yet, his participation in the upcoming All-Star game this weekend is still uncertain.
Leonard, who has made it to the All-Star game six times, played with the injury in Monday's match against the Minnesota Timberwolves, scoring 18 points over 30 minutes. Despite this, he missed the Wednesday night game against the Golden State Warriors, during which the Clippers claimed a 130-125 victory in his absence.Coach Tyronn Lue characterizes the left adductor strain of LA Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard as not "overly serious," however, uncertainty remains regarding his involvement in the All-Star game this weekend.
"I don't think it's that serious, He played through it last game, was experiencing some soreness in the hip, so when the game got out of reach we didn't bring him back in the fourth quarter to be smart about it", Lue said.
According to ESPN, Kawhi Leonard is expected to travel to Indiana for the weekend, whether he plays in the All-Star game or not.
